If you’ve heard from all your unis, have made your decision and told them about it, then you’re done with application process for now.
Congrats. Breathe a tiny sigh of relief.
But don't take your foot off the pedal just yet. Now you need to get your grades or meet any other ‘ifs’ and ‘buts' your chosen unis may have asked for. You may not be in Year 12, but take a look at the revision tips above.
Sure it’s hard work now. But once you’re at your dream uni or, later, in your dream career, you can look back at the next couple of months as a small price to pay.
If you’ve heard from all your unis but you’re still deciding between them, you've got just under a week to weigh up your options. You’ll need to accept the two you like most — one 'firm' first choice and one 'provisional' back-up — and reject the rest.
Remember: your back-up only comes into play if you don’t get the grades for you first choice, so pick one with lower grades.
The deadline to let them know is 1st May. That’s pretty soon. If you missed any of our tips on sorting through offers, you can catch up here.
If you’re still waiting to hear from some of your unis, don’t panic. You should hear from them very soon. They're supposed to have let you know by the end of March, but sometimes, they just take a bit longer. At this stage though, you can definitely chase them.
Not going down the uni route? No problem. On our website we’ve got loads of help and advice on all of the wild and wonderful pathways you could think of, whether that’s Apprenticeships, Gap Years, Jobs, or just No Idea whatsoever.
