What do we do, and how do we do it?
Each year we visit hundreds of schools and colleges to deliver sessions and interactive training to inspire, engage and inform young people and connect them with well-suited opportunities.
Push is widely renowned for its unique style – namely embedding expert content into a funny and energetic form of delivery. We don't just entertain them. Our speakers inimitable humour and storytelling is backed up with 30 years of research and deep expertise into higher education and careers. Our follow up email service Push Post offers students a monthly newsletter which gives them everything they need to know regarding careers and post-16/18 choices. It is completely free, and they can unsubscribe at any time. You can sign up if you’d like to receive the monthly newsletters and forward it to your students or give them the link to register themselves - www.push.co.uk/newsletter. We widely promote our Student Zone on this website for students to access anytime along with regular video guides on hot topics. |

How can we help you?
Ofsted and the DfE now require schools to deliver impartial and independent careers education to all students in secondary and sixth form. Push is not designed to replace your current in-house activities, instead we enhance all the work you are doing by reinforcing your messages to students – and from an engaging, funny and independent speaker they really listen. Check out the sessions we offer.
Universities and employers do brilliant outreach work, but they are not impartial or independent. Push outlines the benefits of all the options at 18 and gives them equal weight – what Ofsted and DfE require students to have. Push really is the most high-quality, unique and fun experience you can put in front of young people – to give them all the information and guidance they need, and inspire them at the same time – but don't listen to us, read our testimonials here.

embedding employabilty into the curriculum
How do we embed employability into the curriculum with a common language that engages and excites young people?
Employability skills can be a droll subject to the uninitiated (or even the initiated who talk about it regularly), and it is more often than not confused with employment skills (the traits needed to apply for and successfully get a job).

Folks don't often associate the word 'joy' with employability, but that is precisely what Push is here to explain in our insightful (and funny) sessions on the topic. Push draws on research to back up Push's theory on how to develop a straight-talking language around employability for young people, which can be relayed across the curriculum in a way that not only helps them understand what employers want, but also gets them excited about developing it. We start with the individual and one's uniqueness...and then get students thinking deeply about what they want from life.
"Push provided an excellent comical and light hearted introduction to university & employability, as well as bringing across excellent and serious concepts."
