PUSH SPEAKERS

Our speakers are:
- PAID
- CASUAL / FREELANCE
-
FLEXIBLE / PART-TIME
- HAPPY TO TRAVEL AND WORK AROUND THE UK
- FULLY TRAINED

- IMMEDIATE START

We’re looking for people who can be funny in front of an audience of young people and who want to do something amazingly worthwhile.

Push is a social enterprise that helps school-leavers to make informed choices about their futures and ensure they have the skills to turn their ambitions into reality – and we're on the hunt for presenters to join our team. Some of our presenters also work as comedians, actors, writers and theatre-makers. Some are just really great at captivating an audience. If you think you’d fit in, please join our small, friendly, values-driven team to promote our award-winning programme of sessions in schools and colleges all over the UK.

This work is hugely rewarding, flexible and fits in with studies or other part-time work. If you pass our auditions, we’ll train you up to deliver our interactive, engaging and expert workshops and presentations.

We're looking for people who have:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (particularly good at building a welcoming/professional rapport with 16 to 20-year olds)
  • Confident speaking in front of a big audience
  • An infectious sense of humour
  • A bit of knowledge about universities
  • The ability to be adaptable and think quickly on the spot
  • Experience being organised, punctual, and self-reliant
  • The willingness to travel (mostly across England) to a variety of schools and colleges
  • A genuine passion to make a difference to thousands of students

After an audition/interview and training in London or your local area, you’ll be despatched to schools and colleges as soon as you’ve reached our standards.

This position is paid and flexible/part-time and fits well around studies or other work/activities.

If you are interested in this post, please submit a CV, covering letter and 300 words on “What I wish I’d known before leaving school” to [email protected].
