Whatever you’re interested in, head out and explore what your uni has to offer. Research and go to society fairs to meet people interested in the same (or wildly different) things to you. If you’re a partier, arrange a club night out with your new flatmates, for some great bonding experiences. Not really your thing? Try joining a sports club – all abilities are catered for, so it’s a great opportunity to try something new.
The first few weeks on a new campus are crazy, busy times, but don’t let them pass you by. They’re the perfect opportunity to meet friends, and everyone is in the same boat as you.
