Our Theory
When we offer students unbiased information about all their potential next steps, ensure they have the resources they need to make their dreams a reality, outline effective study methods and debunk various myths about employability, we begin to see a shift in students’ confidence and motivation. It’s important for students and school-leavers – especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds – to have access to this kind of careers education, which offers them the skills and knowledge they need to make the best choices for themselves.
Push’s Theory of Change depicts our understanding of change and how we aim to provide students and school-leavers with access to the life they want by ensuring they make informed decisions about their futures. It is informed by our understanding that a person who is well-rounded, resilient, confident, and fulfilled by multiple aspects of their life, including their career, is our aim.
Our Theory of Change is also based on the belief that change is not linear but instead complicated, and something which evolves over time. We are aware that many factors contribute to the manner in which a student considers the possibilities of their future, but we also know that our sessions
