Glasgow’s a university with a liberal, cosmopolitan feel and these days inhabitants are desperate to convince anyone who’ll listen that Glasgae is the real Scottish city worth visiting rather than fusty old Edinburgh. The old industrial town is transformed with parks, cinemas and art galleries.
