Flanked all round by beautiful English Garden Kent countryside, Canterbury’s a pant-droppingly gorgeous city, all medieval stonework and Olde Worlde architecture. The University of Kent however, is a 60s red brick affair, sat on a hillock in the middle of 300 acres of landscaped gardens which overlook the city and its celebrity cathedral ... more detail It’s split into three distinct faculties and also farms some departments out to University of Kent at Medway in Chatham. There’s not much difference in life at each faculty but the system does inspire some healthy rivalry and less healthy cliqueiness.
