This is actually a really great uni "probably the best uni in the world" as one of the hoodies says (and yes you will end up buying one, as everybody becomes a fan when they get here!) It's not quite as I expected, I can't really explain how, but I'm definitely not disappointed! It's also hard for me to say whether some things are significant to this university or all universities in general (me being an undergraduate and all!)The reputation for the university is good and is only striving further upwards(will be in the top 10 in the country within the next few years!) I think people worry too much about the whole "rich kid" stereotype (yes there are a few "rahs" but not as many as in other unis and 90% of the people are literally AMAZING! Even the so-called "rahs" are alright because they mainly stick to themselves and are generally alright anyway!) The type of people you get are quite mixed as well as enthusiatic about work but definitely know how to have a good time! The campus is also beautiful and most of the accommodation is on campus or close-by (which is definitely a plus!) I'd personally recommend catered for first year (as it's more social and I prefer the accommodation) but this is Exeter, you're bound to love whatever you choose! So come and apply here now!

It’s seriously a great Uni. Going out is quite good especially during student nights - I’m from London and trust me I know how good partying can get. Housing, well it depends you can get off pretty lightly if sharing with friends - could be cheaper though. Booze is well cheap, people get wasted all the time! Uni is great for sports and excellent studying environment, they have just redone the main library and wow they have done a great job! Also Uni provides many bursaries and stuff so it can help with your finances. Jobs, well there is a high turnover of students so part-time jobs are always going. Tell you the truth, my friends in Universities in big cities are finding it harder to find jobs as the locals are looking too! Great scenery and great for student life - Brilliant Uni, cheap living (no need to pay for travel, everything based locally). Recommend strongly as its the best choice I could have ever made!
