Did you know that all of your senses can be helpful when you revise for exams? Some studies have found that if you always suck on Polos while revising the ins and outs of Biology, or wear the same perfume when thinking about French sentence structure, it can help encode what you're memorising. This is because all our senses are linked and they all make pathways into the process of remembering. This, however, should only be used alongside your regular excellent study skills otherwise you'll be sat in your exam popping Polos and praying to a confectionery god. Not a good look for anyone. Monthly Life Tip:
Now that we can find out almost anything on the internet in a matter of seconds, we should maybe be slightly more aware of what we post out there. Try googling yourself. If you can find photos of that notorious night in Nandos, then so can your future employers. Take 10 minutes this month to 'spring clean' your display pictures on your social media accounts and get your friends to untag you from their banter albums. Most employers will do at least a quick web check up on you, even if it’s only once you’ve got an interview. But if that’s when they find out about the incident with the vacuum cleaner and the hedgehog, all your efforts to get that far will be busted. Basically, if you wouldn't show the photo/tweet/post to your Gran, don't post it or let it stay online. You’ll thank us for this in the long run.
