Been to this university?
Duchenne muscular dystrophy is fatal. There is no cure. Children are losing the ability to walk, hug, eat, draw, play and breathe every day.
Please take a second to sign this petition. Whilst DMD is fatal, a new (and safe!) drug could finally offer a treatment! Children will continue to die and children will continue to lose their ability to walk if this decision continues to be postponed.
If you would like more information before signing the petition please see this short blog post from a dad whose son has DMD:
or any of these beautiful videos about DMD:
(the 9th video is 32 seconds long for those who are interested but would rather not watch the longer 3-5 minute videos!)
