Tit Hall (the nickname’s only amiably abusive) is a river college that peeps discreetly from behind Clare, Caius and Trinity colleges, tucked away just off King’s Parade. It’s the fourth smallest in Cambridge, which means it’s cosy as a cuddle, or snug as a straitjacket depending on whom you ask. It has a rather pretty Georgian courtyard and lovely gardens although the burgeoning academic spirit might mean you won’t spend all your time dossing in them.
