Trinity College, Oxford

Originally Trinity students had to take holy orders, lead monastic lifestyles of study and contemplation and never marry. Entry requirements have relaxed – now students just have to be clever. Trinity College sits very prettily in extensive gardens, 400m  from Carfax and within walking distance of the University’s main facilities. The College is generally moderate – in size, sporting/political activity and cost – and though it maintains a keenly academic tilt, has plenty of journos, politicos and thespos too.
