Bedsits
Bedsits are half-bedroom, half-sitting room. Often they’re half-kitchen and half-study too. All within a 10’ by 10’ room.
The room is usually an extra one in someone’s home, in which a corner has become a kitchen and a washing area simply by adding a sink and a Baby Belling.
If you’re lucky, you get a decently done-up granny flat recently vacated by some old dear who’s popped her clogs or been shipped off to a home.
Bedsits aren’t as popular as they were. It’s not hard to see why.
