Heythrop’s a wee slip of a college, right next door to Kensington Tube Station, in the Trustafarian heartland of chic boutiques and glitzy bars. Originally a training-ground for Jesuit priests, it offers courses in philosophy and theology and still maintains a strong Catholic aroma – many students and staff are members of religious orders...more detail Though this doesn't mean its a doddery old place with even dodderier views and (non)believers of any kind don’t have to worry about inquisitions, spanish or otherwise. Close quarters mean one-on-one tutorials are commonplace, with the highly respected lecturers also managing to attend the odd lecture...more on academic Sporting activity is as popular as a Big Brother contestant...more on sports and there’s no bar on campus, obliging thirsty students to throw their wallets at the mercy of Kensington’s uber-pricy watering holes...more on entertainment The University is now publicly funded, which brings fees down slightly, but there is still a lack of pennies in the uni's support bucket...more on welfare
